For over 30 years, St Luke’s Hospice in Cape Town has been providing palliative care to terminally ill patients and their loved ones. Whether in the wards, or at patients’ homes, their staff and volunteers tirelessly offer support and counselling – at absolutely no cost.

So, when we at Pescatech had the opportunity to help these selfless individuals, we jumped at it.
We donated several pairs of Sanita Safety Shoes (worth over R20 000) to some of the nursing staff at the Hospice. And because St Luke’s offers roundthe-clock care, these specially designed shoes can help provide some much-needed comfort to those on their feet for long hours. It’s such a small way to give back to such an incredible organisation, but we were so pleased to make a difference in any way we could.
